Friday 15th March - placements finished!

Today was everyones last day at placement, all went well, said our cheerio's and thanked them all. 

Just had our farewell dinner at Luxol. Yummy in my tummy.

Thursday - 14th March - INSPIRE Multi Sensory Room

After lunch at luxol, we went for some relaxation and therapy at INSPIRE.  We were well ready for it!! We went to the soft play area - great craic.  Then into the White Room - So relaxing.  We all had a little snooze before heading to the gym or for a dip in the pool.

Wednesday - 13th March - Karaoke Night

Karaoke night again, glad rags on and tunes were beltin'!

Monday - Election Holiday in Malta

Local elections this weekend meant we got an extra long weekend! :) WHAT AN EVENTFUL ONE!!

Well Mary had only just arrived on Saturday evening and the trouble started

(One trouble maker sent home & another arrives)

After a night in the cell we managed to get her back!! LONG STORY!!

 

 

We walked to duck village on Monday morning, stopping off at the shops and then went bowling after our lunch.

On Tuesday night the boys were mascots for Luxol Football team.

Sunday 10th March - Popeye Village

Today we had great fun at 'Popeye Village'. We were greeted with Popeye and Olive dancing...it was great fun!

We had a guided tour, starred in our own movie, trip on a speed boat, attended the Wedding of Popeye and Olive with Natalie catching the bouquet and we all partied at the Wedding reception!!!!

The bonus was the spectacular scenery with cystal clear blue water....PARADISE - so we have decided to move into Popeye's house :)

Saturday 9th March - Valletta City

On Saturday morning we headed off to Valletta City. We got the ferry from Sliema over to Valetta. The sun was shining and we had a great view of Sliema Harbour on the Boat. Valetta was busy and the group enjoyed buying items from the Market. Exhausted we had another Icecream treat :)

Friday - Mosta, Glass Factory & Mdina (Silent City)

On Friday after lunch we all headed on a lovely adventure (minus Sharon - she was left at the hotel to do the weekly ironing duty). To start with we stopped at Mosta Dome Church to see the beautiful building. Inside was magnificint with lovely statues and wondeful acrhitecture. The group then headed onto Mdina Glass Factory were staff demonstrated their handy work. This visit was very interesting. We then set off to Mdina to visit the silent city & of course it was silent because Sharon was BUSY IRONING in Room 101 in Park Hotel!!!!

That night after all her hard work we treated Sharon to a lovely chocolate cake...she thought it was her leaving do but really we were glad she had done some work in the first week ;)
